Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin

Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin is an acclaimed singer, songwriter, researcher, and author renowned for her work in restoring and revitalizing the Gaelic song traditions of Ulster, particularly the Oriel region. Her recording career spans distinct musical genres, each dedicated to a specialized style: sean-nós singing, early monastic song, modern Irish composition, and children’s music in Irish and English. She is also the author of the seminal opus A Hidden Ulster and director of the Oriel Arts Project.
